Emergency Relief for Afghan Refugees Deported From Iran

The Kalaam Project is urgently distributing aid to Afghan refugees who are being forcibly deported from Iran through the Herat border. For years, Afghan refugees in Iran have endured persecution and mistreatment—banned from education, employment, and even basic necessities like housing and bread. Now, they are being expelled in large numbers, with no warning and nowhere safe to return to in Afghanistan. Many of these refugees are women, children, and elderly people, facing hunger, homelessness, and illness.

Our team is on the ground providing emergency aid, including baby food for malnourished infants, hygiene kits to help prevent illness, snacks for adults making the long and difficult journey, essential medication kits, and cash aid for the most vulnerable—especially those with no home to return to.

We are committed to full transparency and will be sharing photos, videos, and receipts of all aid distributions as we continue this work. Your support can help us reach more families and remind them that they are not alone in this crisis.
